At Obsidian Worlds, we care deeply about our users and the wider Minecraft community. We are comitted to clear and transparent communication. We want this document to explain how and why we use personal data in terms that make sense to you. Our lawful bases for collecting or using personal information for service updates or marketing purposes are:

- Legitimate interests – we’re collecting or using your information because it benefits you, our organisation or someone else, without causing an undue risk of harm to anyone. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to portability. Our legitimate interests are:
- We collect customers email addresses for our waitlist so that we can contact them for early access. This benefits both Obsidian Worlds, as it enables us to get user feedback on our product, and benefits users as they have a chance to be selected for early access to the platform.

- Legal obligation – we have to collect or use your information so we can comply with the law. All of your data protection rights may apply, except the right to erasure, the right to object and the right to data portability.

- When customers contact us with queries, complaints or claims, we must keep a record of their correspondence so that we can respond to the customer.

When you join our waitlist we will retain your email address for service updates or marketing purposes for a limited period of time. We will remove it from our records either:
